This weekend has been a crazy weekend of fun, learning, and a lack of cell service! We made it out to Washington for the MotoAmerica race at the Ridge Motorsports! It was my first time at the track, so we were able to get a lot of valuable progress at the Dunlop tire test on Thursday.
Every session we made improvements all the way through Saturday’s race. I managed to get a good start in the race but after a few laps the bike began to sputter. We persevered throughout the race and was running in 7th and gaining on 6th place before the red flag came out which ended our race early.
It was bittersweet because as much as I wanted to keep pushing to better my position, I’m thankful that the bike was able to make it through the race before getting too clogged.
